Armed Defense Training Association

Life-threatening situations can develop quickly. Help will be minutes away. You need to be your own First Responder. Our training prepares you to deal with the most common types of defensive situations:

Home Defense both indoors & outdoors
Active Shooter Situations in public places
Sudden Confrontations that arise without warning

ADTA offers four types of training events – many of them FREE:

BEGINNERS WORKSHOP – In-Depth Training for New Shooters. Provides in-depth training for both new handgun owners and experienced shooters who want to refresh their skills. This 4-hour event covers all the basics of handgun safety and operation in one session. Includes many skills needed to get your Safe Shooter certification and participate in Live-Fire tactical events. Enrollment is limited so that you receive lots of personal attention. (Paid event)

DRY-FIRE (DRY PRACTICE) WORKSHOP – Ongoing Training for Intermediate-Level Shooters. Includes training in the basic skills needed to earn your Safe Shooter and Defensive Shooter certifications. Also includes many of the shooting scenarios that you’ll encounter in our live-fire tactical events. Let our Dry-Practice training get you ready for the real thing! (Free event)

LIVE-FIRE FUN SHOOT – Target Lane Training for All Levels of Shooters. Includes training in the basic skills needed to earn your Safe Shooter certification. Our target lane exercises will help you improve your defensive shooting and build confidence in your ability to defend yourself and your loved ones. Please join us for a fun-filled evening in a friendly social setting! (Free event, bring ammo, range fees may apply)

LIVE-FIRE TACTICAL SHOOT – Training for Experienced Shooters in an Open Bay. All of our tactical events include fun and challenging defensive skills training.
